Paul and Lyn Lesher started their Volvo Repair and Service business in 1981. They have been married over 40 years and have three children and 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. All three children and one grandson work with them making it a three generation family business.

Paul started in 1970 working on Volvo's at a dealership in Maryland. Visiting the dealership monthly, the Volvo Representative took an interest in Paul and his knowledge of Volvos. Volvo hired Paul to take care of their demonstrators at their headquarters in Columbia, Md. Within two years Paul became the Volvo School Instructor and traveled the East Coast teaching Volvo Techs at service training schools. Lyn remembers getting many calls on the weekends from all over the U.S. for Paul to fix problem Volvo's over the phone. After several years of teaching, Paul was promoted to the position of Volvo Service Representative. He covered most of the East Coast. He monitored the dealers service and warranty. He also assisted in customer satisfaction.

Over the years, Paul has earned many certificates with Volvo such as, Volvo Master Technician, Engine and Transmission, Fuel Injection, Heating and Air Conditioning, Electrical and Wiring, Brakes, Exhaust, etc.

In 1979, being weary of traveling and only being home on weekends, Paul took the position of Service Manager at a Volvo Dealership in Richmond, Virginia. He stayed in that position for one and a half years.

In June of 1981, Paul started his own Volvo Service and Repair business. He wanted to make sure customers were treated fairly and not being taken advantage of. He started off leasing a two bay garage. It did not take long before his business out grew that  location. He then rented a seven bay garage and hired four more technicians. In 1990 Paul has his own shop built. It has sixteen bays and all the latest equipment and includes a state of the art front end alignment machine, transmission flush machine (highly recommended for 850 Volvo's), quick lube lift, special tire machine for mag wheels, speedometer certification machine, Volvo scan computer, dyno machine, etc., etc., etc. Paul's Inc. is full of equipment designed to meet the demands of Volvos of yesterday and today.

Paul and Lyn own six Volvos and includes Lyn's 1999 C70 Convertible. License # & safe 2.
